Prior to setting out independently, Mara Farrell worked in the field of commercial television as a food stylist. She went on to become the public relations director for Frederick Wildman and Sons, the third largest wine importer in the United States. There, she directed national campaigns for numerous high-profile brands - Champagne Pol Roger, Dry Sack Sherry, Domaine Leflaive, Olivier Leflaive, and the wine brands of Gruppo Italiano Vini.


She holds a master's degree from Columbia University and is

a graduate of The New York Restaurant School and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
